Hotel Facilities

May 16, 2024

"Every time you decide to take a break, go on vacation, one thing that everyone is willing to pay in exchange for an unforgettable experience is the accommodation or hotel. And undoubtedly, what you expect to get back is beauty and convenience. Today, let's get to know the 4 types of amenities that hotels have prepared to win your heart

1. Pay-to-Use Amenities:

Most of these amenities come in the form of services or facilities prepared to serve customers' needs in various aspects, such as laundry and dry cleaning services, spa and hair salon, computer rental, childcare services, private room, recreation rooms, and fitness centers. However, some hotels may not charge separately for these services, allowing them to fall into the 'Free-to-Use Amenities' category."

2. Pay-and-Take Amenities

This category falls under food and beverages, including room service, serving meals to the room, or even trendy services like serving meals on the pool (Floating Breakfast and Lunch).

3. Free-to-Use, No Takeaway Amenities:

In this section, you'll find basic amenities provided to meet your needs, such as television, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, kettle or hot water dispenser, cups or tea mugs, refrigerator, towels, hair towels, bicycle rental, lounges, swimming pool, and dining areas.

4. Free-to-Use, Takeaway Amenities:

Finally, in this last category, you'll find essential items prepared for your convenience to reduce excess baggage, especially for customers arriving by plane, considering restrictions on carrying liquids onboard. These items include toilet paper, tissues, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and dental floss.

That's it for the 4 types of amenities that we've used but might not actually know about. However, just because they're included in various categories doesn't mean they're completely free. It all depends on the hotel's policy.
